Smoothies are our new favorite breakfast. They are also great as an afternoon snack or treat.
Our kiddos love them and I love that they allow me to pack a huge punch of nutrition and flavor for them all at once. I enjoy the smoothies as well and know I’m doing right for all of us (including the little baby in my belly). As an added bonus, the kids have no idea that I’m sneaking in spinach and kale because the vibrant color of the blueberries conceals the secret veggies!! This quick and easy recipe is perfect for your toddlers, your pregnany mommies, and everyone else in the family! As I near the end of my third trimester, I am finding it more and more difficult to eat too much in one setting – – There’s just not enough room for food and baby. While our kids guzzle their smoothies down in mere moments, I can take my time and drink my smoothie while we work through our morning routine.
Ingredients
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
- 2 cups frozen fruit (blend of strawberries, blueberries and peaches)
- 1 banana
- 2 cups raw spinach and/or kale
- Drizzle of honey

Thoroughly blend all of the ingredients in a blender and serve!!
