Farm Fresh Grilled Chicken Pita

As promised, this recipe is a great way to use the chicken we grilled yesterday.  Using a fresh, toasted pita along with some farm fresh purple cabbage, red onion, salsa, and guacamole, you can make a fabulous wrap for the adults in your life.  In the meantime, your little ones can enjoy some chicken sans all of the wonderful toppings ;)  Not only do I love the colors in the recipe, the flavors are fresh, simple, and perfect for a summer weeknight!!






Farm Fresh Grilled Chicken Pita


  • 3 grilled chicken breasts
  • 6 pitas
  • 1 cup fresh guacamole
  • 1 cup fresh salsa
  • 2 cups freshly grated purple cabbage
  • 1 cups sliced red onion


Toast the pitas in the oven at 350 degrees for 5 to 7 minutes.

In the meantime, slice the chicken as desired for the wraps.

Assemble the pitas, spreading the guacamole evenly on each.

Top with purple cabbage, red onion, and chicken.

Finish with fresh salsa, fold, and serve!
