With the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix taking place this week, I thought this would be the perfect time to share my husband’s exotic car dealership, Forza Motorcars, with all of you.
It’s located in Lower Burrell, which is just north of the city of Pittsburgh off of Route 28. He mostly offers exotics such as Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Porsche, but also has a great selection of more daily drivers, such as used BMW, Mercedes, and Audi’s. The showroom has recently undergone a complete restoration and along with the automobiles, the dealership is currently displaying original artwork, also for sale, by artists Tom Mosser and Jonathan Leaser.
Original photography is also displayed and offered for sale by Matt Little. I know I might be biased, but the showroom is absolutely gorgeous!
My husband is the definition of an exotic car aficionado. He comes from a family of classic car collectors, with both my father-in-law and brother-in-law sharing his passion for cars, particularly vintage Italian sports cars. It’s wonderful to watch them pass down the tradition to our kids, who have already developed an appreciation for them at such a young age.
This week, Forza Motorcars will be participating in the Vintage Grand Prix on Wednesday night, and all day Saturday and Sunday. Here is the full schedule for the 2015 Race Week Events. We’d love to see you at the Grand Prix!
I particularly love Wednesday night’s Grand Prix Tune Up at Atria’s at PNC Park. They close down the Roberto Clemente Bridge for everyone to enjoy the automobiles on display! There is also live entertainment and a silent auction. Tickets cost $40 per person at the door and includes appetizers and one complimentary cocktail at Atria’s.
If you are interested in a daily driver or something more collectible, please check out Forza Motorcars on their website, drive over to the lot in person Monday-Saturday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., or give my husband, Frank-John, a call to set up an appointment at (412) 780-5141.
